About RiskyProject Enterprise
RiskyProject is a project risk management software. RiskyProject can be
configured as standalone desktop software, which saves files to the set of files
for each project, and enterprise software, which saves data in the database. As
the same installation packages is used for desktop and enterprise software,
switching from one version to another is fast and easy. You can switch from one
configuration to another configuration using the RiskyProject License Wizard.
RiskyProject Enterprise is a flexible project portfolio risk management analysis
and management system. The enterprise system is comprised of two main
components:
- RiskyProject Server: the server contains the RiskyProject
database. For the current version of RiskyProject, the server itself can be run
on a Microsoft SQL Server. The database contains all project and risk data
including all Monte Carlo simulation results.
- RiskyProject Enterprise Desktop Client: The enterprise desktop
client is required to perform quantitative risk analysis and management. The
enterprise client is an extension of the standalone client, with additional
views pertinent to the enterprise capability. The enterprise client includes
three Portfolio views: the Portfolio Gantt, the Risked Projects, and the Project
Portfolio. These views are Portfolio level views of project schedules and costs.
The client risk register and information it contains is dependent upon what
level or project is active or open. In addition, the RiskyProject Enterprise
Desktop Client includes separate portfolio and project settings. The client used
with enterprise can be either the Professional or Lite version, though User
Administration can only be accessed using the Professional client.
