Locking and unlocking projects

Only one user can open a project at the time. Project will be locked for all other users if somebody opens a project. Locked projects are indicated by an icon next to the project name.

The project will be automatically unlocked, when project is closed. If a project is locked it can be unlocked by an administrator. As an example, it may be necessary to do so if a user left the project open for a long time period.

To unlock a project or group of projects:

1. Click the Projects tab. In the Project Views group, click any Project view.
2. Select the project you would like to unlock.
3. Right-click on the project ID and from the shortcut menu, click Unlock Project.
