Original vs Current Risk Assessments

Post by Stu1 » Wed Jul 26, 2017 11:50 am

What is the difference between original and current probabilities and impacts? Can I have original probabilities and impact for specific category?

With our latest release, we have introduced the idea of both Original and Current risks scores. This is to differentiate between the original risk assessment and its current assessment. Differences between the two can occur when risk mitigation activities are completed or additional information about the risk or events change the probability or the impact of the risk. This allows for tracking of the effectiveness of your mitigation activities versus plans.

Once the original assessment is in place it is stored as a single probability and calculated impact score for the risk. Risks are scored based on the option selected in the Format Risk Matrix > Advanced Settings. The original discrete impacts for each risk category are not saved.
