Risk assessment

Post by Intaver Support » Tue Apr 06, 2010 10:54 am

Version 4 will support both quantitative and qualitative analysis. If no schedule or activites are associated with a project, then by default a qualitative risk assessment which uses risk matrix labels can be used.

Risk events with distribution and High, Low, and Base outcomes (impacts) will be included. Mutually exclusive alternatives will also still be available for users who want to develop custom input distributions.

New Risk Form

Post by Intaver Support » Wed Apr 14, 2010 9:26 am

The new risk form is designed for easy input and tracking of risk data.
Properties that can be entered or generated are Risk ID, Risk Description, Objective, Assumptions, Owner, Manager, Dates of Exposure, Management Strategy and Cost of Mitigation.

The form also includes a calculation that using inputs from the form and risk mitigation waterfall chart will calculate cost of mitigation, total expected risk exposure (cost of risk mitigation + remaining exposure) and expected savings from risk mitigation planning.

Risk Form

Post by SantosB » Wed Apr 14, 2010 9:31 am

Read that you would have new version and am looking to have something to track risk info.

Looking at the form you have, what information is required? Can the defaults be changed. That is can required information be changed depending on needs?

thanks

Risk Form data

Post by Intaver Support » Wed Apr 14, 2010 9:33 am

Hi,

The risk form currently only requires a risk name. Automatic generation of risk ID can be turned on in the user options.

Currently we have not put in a mechanism to modify default required values, but it will be something that we would definitely consider.
