RiskyProject 4.2 is released

Post by Intaver Support » Mon Jun 27, 2011 10:48 pm

RiskyProject 4.2 provides supports the entire risk management process from project initiation to closeout including both qualitative and quantitative risk analysis and management. In addition, it has improved integration with other project management software, updated user interface, and improved performance:
1. Improved qualitative risk analysis and risk management:
• A new Risk Form helps you to enter main risk properties: risk cost, ownership, planning strategy, risk timeline and other information;
• An improved Risk assignment interface makes it easier to enter risk probabilities and outcomes and assign your risks to a project’s tasks and resources;
• An improved Risk Mitigation workflow helps to assign mitigation plans to different risks;
• If a schedule is not part of the project, RiskyProject performs qualitative risk analysis; if project schedule is available the same Risk Register can be used for quantitative risks analysis through assigning risks to tasks and resources
2. For qualitative analysis, you can now customize the text labels for risk outcomes that will guide your users. For example, for safety risks, you can provide additional text such as “Serious – hospitalization required”
3. Fully customized detailed report for each risk
4. Risk history (all changes to risk properties) and risk view data
5. Cost of risk calculation: potential loss, cost of mitigation efforts, savings from mitigation efforts
6. Uncertainties in risk outcomes can be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis. For example, risk may cause delay between 10 days and 20 days defined as an uniform statistical distribution
7. Cost tables for resources: rates and cost per use for different effective dates
8. Improved user interface and Monte Carlo simulation performance; new ribbon interface has been introduced; assigning low and high estimates for duration and cost for a group of tasks has been improved;
9. RiskyProject is now seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Project 2010 using RiskyProject ribbon in the Project. RiskyProject can now import probabilities and outcomes of risks from Microsoft Project.

I have risks have uncertain outcome. For example, a task can be delayed on 2-4 days. I think I cannot model it in RiskyProject 2.1. Can I do it RiskyProject 4.2?
