Risk Chart

Post by MichaelTR » Wed May 19, 2010 9:19 pm

When I open the risk chart view all the task bubbles are centered in the middle of the chart.

Is there a reason for this or is this a bug?

Risk chart issue

Post by Intaver Support » Wed May 19, 2010 9:23 pm

Obviously the risk chart is a bubble chart, and the most likely reason why they are all centered in the middle is that you are viewing Total Task Cost (vs Total Task Duration). If there are costs associated with the activities the you will see the activites all located on the (0,0) axis. Switch to Task Duration as the metric and the risk chart should display correctly.

When I print risk (bubble) chart diameter of bubbles does it seem to be too small. The location of circles is correct. Relative diameter of each circle representing cost or duration is also correct. I recommend increasing diameter of circles for printing.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will adjust the diameter of the circle in the upcoming release for printing. Please note that may also copy chart to clipboard to paste it to other software, such as PowerPoint.

Most likely you have project schedule with balanced risks: siginificant risks are assigned to task with longer duration or higher cost.

Here is some information about risk chart and how risk chart supposes to look like:

Yes. You can print Risk Chart.

Simply open Risk Chart (Analysis Tab). Click on File -> Print or File -> Print Preview.
