Project Risk Analysis Software and Project Risk Management Software Forum

Hi,

I am consultant to one company where am working to implement
Primavera P6. Along with Primavera P6, company has been reviewing
Pertmaster along with Primavera. As a an expert, i found RIskyProject,
an easy to use software with lots of capabilities at very reasonable
price.I am working to implement 'Critical Chain'. You people are
claiming to apply critical chain using RiskyProjects.Would you like to
elaborate how could do that in RiskyProjects. Any example? I have
gone through the materials available at your side but non speak about
the implementation or utilizing this technique using RiskyProjects.
The Company will be looking to have at least 10 licenses of the
software. kindly advice.

There appears to be some misunderstanding of terms. At Intaver, we have published papers on "Event Chain Methodology".
Event chains is a method of modeling discrete risk events in conjunction with Monte Carlo simulations to discover "event chains" or series of risk events that will have the most potential to effect the project. Those event chains that have the most effect are deemed "critical" event chains.

Also, if you are currently evaluation RiskyProject, we will be releasing a new version of RiskyProject in a week. It has many improvements and new features, including improved integration with Primavera (via MS Project xml). We have tested extensively against Primavera schedules exported using the MS Project xml capability.
