How does RiskyProject handle task slippage

Post by Tomico »

Does Risky Project factor in a tasks slippage into its analyses? I.e. if a task has a baseline duration of 200 days, a deterministic duration of 400 days, but the remaining duration is triangularly distributed to be 1 day, 2 days, and 3 days, does RP factor in the fact the task has significantly slipped even though the loaded distributions have a minimal range?

If the task isn't completed, then RiskyProject prorates the distribution based on the % complete unless you override this manually by added low, most likely, and high remaining durations in the Tracking tab of Task Information dialog.
