Schedule Diagnostics is frozen

Post by Ken »

I am trying to apply the schedule diagnosis to a program with more than 5.000 lines and the software is getting stack. So I would like to know is there a way to solve this issue, or de diagnosis have a limit to work with a number of lines. I am going to try changing the extension of the file because I am only have worked with the .xer extension.

It is most likely due to the critical
Path test (#12) It is very resource intensive and unlike our Monte Carlo simulations can only be run on a single core.

On large schedules we recommend to turn this test off unless it is absolutely required. For schedule risk analysis it is not essential.
How to turn off Critical Path test

I recommend opening a small schedule in RiskyProject and running the Diagnostics. When the results open up you will be able configure the Diagnostics by clicking the Configure button.
In the Configuration dialog, clear the check box for the Critical Path test (2nd from the bottom). This will now become the default setting for the diagnostics.

Let us now if this solves your issue.
