Criticality Index

One of our requirements for analysis is a criticality index. Does RiskyProject support this and where can I find it?

Yes, with the most recent version 7.1, criticality index was added to on the KPIs that can be calculated during Monte Carlo simulations. As calculating the criticality index requires a critical path calculation, critical path calculation must be enabled in the Options > Calculations > Calculate Critical Path.



Nest to view Criticality Index for activities, you need to add the Criticality Index column to a any view that you want to use to report the analysis. To add the column, right-click on a column header and from the shortcut menu, click Insert Column ….

After the column with the criticality index is inserted to the grid, the grid information will be saved in to ALM file. So when you reopen project file this column will be presented. It is also possible to save column layout for all future new projects. It is done using Schedule -> Project Options -> View -> Set Default Column Layout.
